Funkcjonariusze SPD planują coroczny sklep z policją dla lokalnych dzieci na rok 2020

The Sevierville Police Department Community Resource Unit and other department members have scheduled the 2020 Shop With a Cop event for December 14-18. With assistance from local school administrators and School Resource Officers, the SPD will select children to take shopping for Christmas presents, have lunch and spend time with officers. These children would likely receive few, if any, Christmas presents without this program.

 

This year, officers will take a couple of students at a time on multiple days, to better comply with COVID-19 social distancing protocol.

SPD officers are asking for donations from the public to help pay for the shopping trips. A Shop With SWAT bank account has been established at Citizens National Bank (CNB) to receive donations. Residents may donate at any CNB in Sevier County. Any unused money that is collected will remain in the account to be used next Christmas.
